Hello!
Our hotelito was started to share our slice of paradise with the world.
As longtime visitors of this area, we envisioned La Joya as the kind of place we wanted to spend our time: laidback but elegant with great food and adventures at your doorstep. Over the years, and with the help of a generous community, we’ve found the best surf, hikes, ceremony, dining and adventure this coast has to offer – we think you’re going to love it here and can’t wait to show you around.”

About Our Amenities
Drew Hertz leading morning flow on the terrace
With a new breed of traveller in mind...
We wanted La Joya to have everything you could ask for in a healthful and restorative retreat. From the invigorating hot/cold spa, to filtered on site water and the organic offerings of Tekaumana – we wanted La Joya to support your wellbeing.
We also love to move and have made sure that whatever you’re after, be it SUP or Surf, yoga gear or kettlebells we’ve got you covered.
And we know firsthand that work sometimes tags along on vacation so we’ve ensured we have the best internet available and gorgeous open air work spaces to get it done.

Where
La Joya is located on Playa Escondida, the ‘hidden beach’ and is just a short golf cart ride from the nearby town of Sayulita, a Mexican tourism designated ‘Pueblo Magico’ or magical town, that draws travellers from around the globe for its beginner friendly surf, lively art, music and bohemian charm.
